MEET MERILEE

Merilee Ford M.A

Certified Wellness Advocate

There was a time in my life when I felt completely hopeless and without answers.

For years, I struggled with debilitating anxiety, OCD, chronic fatigue, and recurring illness related to Epstein-Barr virus. With each pregnancy, my symptoms became increasingly difficult to manage. Everyday things leaving the house, making decisions, spending time with my family, or enjoying the activities I once loved became overwhelming. I felt disconnected from myself and from the life I wanted to be living.

I sought help from countless doctors, specialists, therapists, and other practitioners. While each offered something valuable, I continued to feel as though important pieces were missing. Over time, with the support of compassionate professionals and through my own continued education and research, I began to understand something that completely changed the way I viewed health: our physical, mental, and emotional well-being are deeply connected. Rather than looking at each struggle in isolation, I began connecting the dots exploring the relationships between nutrition, stress, thought patterns, lifestyle, relationships, expectations, and physical health.

This whole-person approach helped me find greater peace, energy, balance, and confidence, while developing a deeper understanding of what my mind and body needed to thrive.

After years of passionate research and education in psychology, interpersonal relationships, nutrition, behavior change, and whole-person wellness, I knew I wanted to turn what I had learned into practical tools and strategies that could help others feel better, reduce stress, increase energy, find greater balance, and improve their overall well-being. In 2017, I created Connect the Dots, and I continue to love helping people who feel stressed, overwhelmed, stuck, or simply unsure where to begin. My goal is to help you recognize the connections between your mind, body, habits, and overall well-being and then turn that understanding into realistic, sustainable changes that fit your individual life.

Because when we begin to connect the dots, we can better understand what we need and create a clearer path toward feeling well again.
